Lawyer Kwabena Boateng, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, has won the Ejisu by-election, securing 55.8% of the vote cast.
Lawyer Kwabena Boateng defeated his main opponent, Independent candidate Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, who garnered 43.3% of the votes.
This victory allows Boateng to fill the vacant seat left by the late Member of Parliament (MP) and Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, who passed away on March 7, 2024.
