Ksi: 5-Year-Old Girl Swept Away In Moshie Zongo Flood1 min read

5- year-old girl has reportedly died after she was swept away by flash floods at Moshie Zongo in Kumasi.

According to residents in the area, the deceased, whose name is yet to be identified was carried away by floods after a heavy downpour on Tuesday September 12, 2023.

The girl, a pupil of Ethiopia International School at Pankrono Estate was seen floating in a drain after the heavy downpour.

Nana Adu, a resident in the area said the girl had closed from school and was on her way home when the sad incident happened.

“We do not know the circumstances leading to her drowning, all we saw was her lifeless body floating in the drain in tarted school uniform. We rushed to pick her up, but she was later confirmed dead by health professionals at a nearby hospital “
