“Kumasi Needs A Radical Mayor For Progress” – Abraham Boadi1 min read
Former Presiding Member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Abraham Boadi, known as Opooman, has emphasized the urgent need for a radical mayor to spearhead development in Kumasi.
Opooman stressed that without a Mayor who possesses direct connections to both the President and the Ashanti Kingdom, Kumasi will struggle to undergo significant transformation.
During an appearance on the Ama Ghana Morning Show, he highlighted instances where decisions were made invoking the names of the President and the Manhyia Palace without their knowledge.
Abraham Boadi specifically criticized the current KMA boss, Hon Sam Pyne, arguing that his inability to directly engage with the Ashanti Kingdom and the President hampers his capacity to deliver on development initiatives.
