In a dramatic turn of events, chaos erupted in Kumasi as police used teargas to disperse supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during their ‘Enough is Enough’ demonstration. The protest quickly escalated into violence, with tensions between demonstrators and law enforcement reaching a boiling point.
During the clash, one protester was injured and rushed to the hospital, while another was hurt in a separate altercation.
The situation intensified when some protesters attempted to assault a police officer who sought safety in a nearby house, and another officer was also injured in the melee.
