Lack Of Toilet Facilities In Rural Areas A Serious Plight – Amenfi Central MP1 min read
Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency, Hon. Peter Kwaakye-Ackah has lamented over the lack of toilet facilities in the rural areas.
Hon. Kwaakye-Ackah described the situation as worrisome.
He was reacting to a statistic from Ghana Statistical Service that 1.4m households in urban areas lack water and over 400k are without toilet facilities on Time FM 97.7 Mhz Ama Ghana Morning Show.
He said if there is lack of toilet facilities, residents adopt open defecation wailing that the open defecation causes sickness.
“It is very important for residents to have toilet facilities in their homes,” he told Opanin Tweneboah Kodua.
