Ladies Lack Education on The Usage Of Emergency Contraceptive Pills – Dr. Dickson Tuffour<span class="wtr-time-wrap after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">1</span> min read</span>

National Vice President, Graduate Physician Assistant Association of Ghana, Dr. Emmaunel Dickson Tuffour has explained the dangers Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP) pose but unknown to users.

According to him, ECP are used to prevent unplanned pregnancy which at least should be taken two times in a whole month.

He added that, the Health Ministry should do more education on ECP.

Speaking on the Ama Ghana Show on Time FM, Dr. Dickson Tuffour said a common effect of using the contraceptive is ovulating twice a month which is abnormal.

“It can make you get symptoms of pregnancy and can cause infertility which the best way is to use family planning method for long term,” he told host, Kwame Koranteng.
