Acting Executive Director for Ghana Integrity Initiative, Mary Awelana Addah is calling for election of Municipal, Metropolitan and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) rather than appointment.
According to Awelana Addah, if the MMDCEs are elected we will get competent people for the job.
Contributing to the topic: “Ghana’s Decentralization – A Reality? ” on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, she added that when the MMDCEs are elected, residents will get the opportunity to elect the person they believe in.
