My Government Is Digitalization Government – Nana Addo1 min read

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic, has declared that his administration is a digitalization government.

“My indefatigable Vice President, the NPP’s excellent Presidential candidate for the 2024 election, has been the brain behind the digitalization for the past seven years,” Nana Addo praised  Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during his State of the Nation address in Parliament on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

He made a disclosure that Dr. Bawumia would release information that would enable everyone to review every government initiative since 2017. He revealed that the Performamce Tracker will go live in March 2024.

“One of the largest digitalization projects in Africa has begun with us. We have enrolled 17.6 million people on the Ghana Card so far, up from 900,000 in 2017. Regarding accessibility to financial inclusion, Ghana now holds the top spot in Africa.”
