On Tuesday, 5th December, 2023, mytimefm.com broke the news about the resignation of Nana Yaa Jantuah from the Convention People’s Party (CPP).
Speaking on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, she revealed to Nana Kwabena Ampratwum that the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party in a meeting on Tuesday asked the Executives of the party to step down from their posts because of bad performance.
According to Nana Yaa Jantuah, she decided to resign from the party following the NEC’s decision.
Nana Yaa Jantuah bemoaned bitterly that she has been sacked from her position as the party’s General Secretary three times and it is time to move on.
She said she will announce her next step in her political life in the coming days.
