Napo Files Nomination Forms To Contest Manhyia South NPP Primaries To Continue His Good Works

So on December 7, 2024, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Manhyia South Constituency will be in the race again.

This is because the unstoppable Napo has filed his nomination forms to contest the Parliamentary seat. It was a joyous Wednesday when Napo submitted his forms to the Manhyia South Constituency office in Kumasi.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh who is also the Energy Minister was accompanied by the executives, members and sympathisers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In an interview with the media, the Manhyia South MP said he had consistently urged NPP members to campaign on the party’s positive records to retain power and do more for the state.

Napo met all the requirements to contest the seat.

The Constituency Chairman for Manhyia South, Mr. Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori Atta, aka Tomtom received the forms and urged party members to desist from insults since such things have the tendency to derail the peace and tranquility within the party.

Tomtom vowed that the constituency shall ensure nothing untoward happens to none of the contestants.

He praised Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh for being a good lawmaker who has done a lot for the constituency.

The chairman, together with his team, went through the forms and certified him.

He thanked the MP for successfully filing the forms and said the office was opened to everyone who was ready to pick and file his or her nomination forms without any intimidation as speculated.
