John Mahama has won the Asokwa Constituency NDC Presidential election with a landslide victory.

John Mahama polled 980 votes as Kojo Bonsu secured 10 votes.

The total vote cast was 991.

17 ballots were rejected.

Meanwhile, Amo Kamel polled 673 votes to emerge winner of the Parliamentary election.

His opponent, Dorcas Dufie Osei-Boadu obtained 325 votes.

Delivering his victory speech, Amo Kamel dedicated the victory to the NDC branch executives.

According to Kamel, the branch executives championed his campaign.

An attempt to interview defeated Dorcas Dufie Osei-Boadu proved futile.
