A resident at Bawku known as Kwabena has revealed that life is unbearable for residents in the area.
The conflict between Mamprusi and Kusasi ethnic groups has brought tension and untold hardship.
According to Kwabena, businesses have been shutdown, gun shots are heard now and then and everyone is afraid to go out.
He told Kwame Koranteng on Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM that only gun shots are fired day in day out.
He revealed that weapons are imported from Burkina Faso.
He said for the past three to four days calm has been restored in the area.
Kwabena urged Chiefs and authorities to add their voice to have a lasting solution to the ill will.
