The Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, has hailed the Asante King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as a true and discerning friend.

During his speech at the climax of the 60th Anniversary of the Oguaa Fetu Festival and his 25th anniversary as chief, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II expressed his deep appreciation for Otumfuo’s loyalty and friendship.

“You are a genuine friend,” he said, emphasizing that their bond could help unlock development in untapped areas, creating a lasting legacy for future generations. He expressed optimism that their friendship would foster growth and bring opportunities to underdeveloped regions.

The Asantehene was the Guest of Honour at the festival, which took place on September 7, 2024, at the Oguaa Jubilee Park in the Central Region.

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC Vice Presidential Candidate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, NPP Vice Presidential Candidate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, British High Commissioner to Ghana H.E. Harriet Thompson, and other prominent leaders.
