Contractor of Astro Turfs across the country, Best Limited has handed over one of its unique Astro Turfs at Kwadaso Estate Alignment to the Member of Parliament for the Nhyiaeso Constituency.

The initiative was by the MP for the area, Hon Dr. Stephen Amoah with financial support from Ghana Commercial Bank PLC.

Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah, the Kumasi Mayor, Hon. Sam Pyne and some traditional leaders unveiled the facility.

The modern pitch is named after Opanin Kwame Afreh who released the vast land free of charge.

Speaking at the commissioning of the Astro Turf, the Managing Director of Best Limited, Nana Antwi gave the assurance that they will continue to promote and develop sports, especially football  with quality Astro Turfs.

Nana Antwi revealed that the mini stadium has a football pitch, stands and floodlights.

“What we are seeing here today is one of the projects we keep doing in various constituencies across the country. Today is another milestone chalked by our brand because, with a partnership with a brand like GCB PLC, we are assured of the best. In the coming months we are looking forward to handing over the ones in other constituencies,” the Managing Director said.

For his part, the MP for the Nhyiaeso constituency, Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah explained that the initiative was ignited by calls from the youth for the construction of a pitch.

He noted that naturally he loves football and for that matter he didn’t relent in his promise to the people to develop football in the constituency.

“We are about to start another one at Atasamanso and move to other zones because we have three zones in Nhyiaeso,” the MP revealed.

He commended Best Limited for a good job done saying they are one of the best in the country.

In an advise to the youth, the Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Sam Pyne admonished them to desist from immoral acts that can lead them astray.

He reiterated that engaging in acts of immorality only results in sufferings and burdens.
