Chairman of Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee (IMC), Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua has put smiles on the faces of Children at Kontomponiafere in the Asokore Mampong Municipality with a party.

The Children numbered over 500 could not hide their contentment as they played games and swam in a pool.

Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua who is also the Chief of Kontomponiafere advised the children to be obedient and take their learning seriously.

The escalated children showered praises on Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua and prayed to God to replenish whatever he had lost on them.

Asante Kotoko team led by Head Coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum thronged the event to have their annual get-together.

In his Christmas message, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua urged the team to maintain the fighting spirit and maintain unity and coordination for the second round of the season.

He said: “With the fighting spirit coming back Kotoko can surely clinch the league title”.

The IMC Chairman advised the players to obey instructions from the coach and the technical team.
