(PICTURES) MTN Ghana Launches 21 Days of Y’ello Care 20231 min read
Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana, has launched its Y’ello Care employee volunteering programme.
The programme is to secure high participation levels of MTN Ghana staff in high-impact social projects to improve the livelihoods of the vulnerable residing in the communities the telecommunication giant operates.
The ‘21 days Y’ello Care Campaign’, commences on June 1, 2023, until June 21, 2023.
It is under the theme “Empowering Communities to Drive Economic Recovery”.
The Ashanti Regional Senior Sales Manager for MTN Ghana, Simon Amoh in an interview with mytimefm.com after a short ceremony at the headquarters of the MTN Ghana office in Kumasi said, the telecommunication giant is pursuing to empower entrepreneurs to expand their firms.
“MTN purposes go beyond providing social amenities to societies. It’s about catalysing change and enabling progress in the lives of our customers” Mr Amoh said.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the support they will receive.
He revealed that prize money of US$100,000 has been placed on the programme. The country with the highest staff participation will win it.
Some beneficiaries of the Y ‘ello Care program who spoke to mytimefm.com showed their appreciation.
“We have seen a massive improvement in our businesses. We have learned how to save money and advertise our business.”
