The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah has urged his fellow politicians not to wish negatively for each other.
Hon. Osei-Mensah said politicians should work together because the development of the country is paramount.
He spoke at the 10th Commemorative Lecture of the late former President, John Evans Atta Mills at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi on July, 27, 2023
“We should not wish each other negative or each other to fail. When the economy develops we all benefit. If we fail we fail together because nobody will be spared,” he told the gathering.
He emphasized that politicians can criticise each other but the criticism should have the objective to put the government on its feet.
Eulogizing the late former Head of State, Hon. Osei-Mensah said, John Evans Atta Mills worked with integrity and was a hard worker.
He continued that the former President embraced all manner of people.
“His peaceful deposition was darling to Ghanaians. It is not surprising his resting place is named ‘Asomdwoe Park’
