Presidency Is Not For Comedy – Lawyer Anokye Frimpong Chides Akufo-Addo1 min read
Lawyer cum Historian, Anokye Frimpong has waded into the public debate on President Akufo-Addo’s comment that the people affected by the floods from the Akosombo Dam spillage did not vote for him.
In an interview on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, Lawyer Anokye Frimpong said the President’s comment is unfortunate.
He posited that the Presidency is not for comedy for Akufo-Addo to play with.
He fumed that if President Akufo-Addo wants something to play with, it shouldn’t be politics or elections.
“Ashanti Region is the stronghold of the NPP.What has President Akufo-Addo done for the residents,” he asked Opanin Tweneboah Kodua.
