Reporting Date Of First-Year SHS Students: Education Minister Has Defied Speaker’s Directive – Hon. Peter Kwaakye1 min read

Member of the Education Committee of Parliament, Hon. Peter Kwaakye says the Ministry of Education led by Hon. Yaw Osei Adutwum has been adamant on the reporting date of SHS first-year students.

Hon. Peter Kwaakye said Dr Osei Adutwum has defied the directive of Speaker of Parliament, Right Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin to consider the reporting date of the student.

Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM on Monday, December 4, 2023, he said that it would have been appropriate if the reporting date was pushed to 2 -3 weeks.

He charged that Parliment is expecting the Education Minster to appear before the House to justify why he has been adamant on the consideration of the reporting date.
