SONA 2024: President Akufo-Addo Threw Dust Into Ghanaians’ Eyes – Nana Otupiri Darko1 min read

President Akufo-Addo smeared dust in Ghanaians’ eyes during his State of the Nation Address, Nana Otupiri Darko, Director of Operations for Ghana First Coalition has stated.

The 2024 State of the Nation Address was read in parliament on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, by President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo.

As per Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, the President is required to deliver a message on the status of the nation to the legislature at the start of every session and prior to the legislature’s dissolution.

Nana Otupiri Darko said on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM that President Akufo-Addo disregarded the negative accomplishments and only highlighted the positive ones.

He maintained that politicians in Ghana had no regard for the people.
