The University of Ghana has commemorated its 75th anniversary with Christian and Muslim Thanksgiving Services on Friday, August 11, 2023.
The Christian Service was held at the Cedi Conference Centre while the Muslim Prayers were held at the Legon Central Mosque.

Present at the Christian Service were His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, other government officials, senior UG management members, University community participants, and students.

At the Legon Central Mosque were Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, the spokesperson of the National Chief Imam, and other eminent members of the Muslim community, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Amfo, and senior management members of the University, alumni and students.
