Former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen says if Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is elected as the flagbearer for the 2024 elections, it will obliterate the perception that the NPP is for only Akans.

“The NPP has never said they don’t want a non-Akan to lead them.The non-Akans don’t show up,” he said on Wontumi TV.

Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen said Dr Bawumia has all the qualities to be the NPP flagbearer.
