A Private Legal Practitioner and a former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has admitted that it will not be easy for the ruling party to break the 8 years political regime.

Lawyer Obiri Boahen noted that since 1992, no political party has governed the country for more than 8 years.

Speaking with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7MHz, he posited that the NPP is presenting a fresh candidate for the December 7 polls.

He added that the party for the first time in history, is presenting a Northerner and a Muslim candidate for election to contest against a former Vice President, President, who has also lost Presidential election twice in the person of John Mahama.

Lawyer Obiri Boahen advised that the NPP needs to be extra careful and extra united to beat John Mahama.
