VIDEO: Broadcasters Have Not Paid For The Usage of DTT Platform Since 2016 – CEO of TV Universe Reveals1 min read
Chief Executive Officer of TV Universe, Evans Kumi Wadewor aka Prof says he agrees with the government to shut down television signals to homes and offices in 2024 if broadcasters decline to pay for the usage of the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) platform.
Prof. Kumi Wadewor shockingly revealed that since the DTT platform was created in 2016 no broadcaster has paid for its usage.
Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Kumasi based Time FM, he told Nana Kwabena Ampratwum that the price of digital and satellite components is very expensive but the government has paid for the usage of the DTT platform since its creation.
