(VIDEO) EC Proposal To Change Election Date From December To November ‘Not A Bad One’ – David Kumi Addo1 min read

Executive Director, Care for Free and Fair Election Ghana (“CARE” Ghana) says the Electoral Commission’s proposal for a change of election date from December 7 to November 7 during the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on Monday, January 22, 2024,  is welcomed saying it is not a bad proposal.

According to Mr Kumi Addo, things are done in a hurry during the change of government and he believes that the change of the election date will provide adequate time for a change of administration after the election.

Taking part in a panel discussion on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7Mhz, he told Nana Kwabena Ampratwum that he shared the idea with the EC on the proposal of election day to be designated as national holiday.
