Franklin Cudjoe, Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education says there should be a change of how people are appointed to head government institutions.
According to Mr Cudjoe, appointing people with deficiency ruins state institutions.
In an interaction with Kwame Koranteng on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, he said those who deserve to head the state institutions are not appointed.
“The government doesn’t appoint the people who deserve and those who don’t deserve to head the enterprises are appointed and for that matter they don’t respect the appointing authority. ”
He proposed that there should be a renewed attitude, Key Performance Indicators and a rehiring process to give state institutions a facelift.
