A former Deputy Education Minister, Hon. Alex Kyeremeh, has recalled that a section of Ghanaians advised the government to exclude persons who can pay schools from the free Senior High School Policy but it turned deaf ears.
Hon. Kyeremeh said the governments refusal to adhere to the advise has landed the policy in this state.
Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, he said it is not wrong for the government to absorb the SHS fees but there is hardship in the system.
