(VIDEO) Ghana Has No Proper Policy To Guide Domestic Workers – Hon Helen Adjoa Ntoso1 min read

The Member of Parliament for Krachi West and Ranking Member,Gender and Children Committee, Hon. Helen Adjoa Ntoso has said that Ghana has no proper policy to guide domestic workers and it is worrying.

According to her, in other countries before they recruit any house help the company will do thorough background checks about the person saying, Ghana is different.

Hon. Ntoso continued that, people abuse domestic workers, especially children who are normally given food once a day.

Speaking on Ama Ghana Morning Show with Kwame Koranteng on the  topic: “The House Help Concept In Ghana”, she said the laws and policy against enforcing a child into house help is not working.
