First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Osei-Owusu has reacted to the Electoral Commission (EC) decision to accept the Ghana Card and Passport for the limited voter registration exercise.

The limited voter registration exercise commences on September 12.

According to Joe Wise as the Bekwai Constituency legislator is fondly called, every Ghanaian must have the Ghana Card.

“The Ghana card is used to prove identity. Using the Ghana card will not disenfranchise anybody from voting,” he told Kwame Koranteng on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM.
