A former National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan has condemned the alleged money paid to delegates by politicians during elections.
Yaw Boateng Gyan described it as disgusting.
According to him, it breeds corruption emphasizing that it makes new politicians corrupt.
Speaking with Opanin Tweneboah Kodua on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, he said the act has trickled down to the District Level elections.
He said the aspirants should be interrogated to know where they got the money from.
Yaw Boateng Gyan stated paying money to delegates have made institutions vulnerable adding that there should be an amendment in the constitution in order to curb the menace.
