(VIDEO) Scrap Ex-gratia; Add Council Of State To National House of Chiefs – Historian1 min read

Historian and Lawyer, Anokye Frimpong has urged political leadership to scrap the payment of ex-gratia to members of the executives.

According to him, the functions of the Council of State body should be added to the National House of Chiefs.

Appearing on Time FM Ama Ghana Morning Show in Kumasi, he said “if Chiefs are not allowed to engage in active politics then the Council of State should be jettisoned.”

“There should be an amendment in the constitution,” he told host, Kwame Koranteng.
