Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Prof. Lord Mensah has admonished the government to stop controlling the economy and leave it to private investors.
“It is time government moved away from controlling the economy,” he told host, Nana Kwabena Ampratwum.
Prof. Lord Mensah said it is the responsibility of the government to build roads and provide quality health, and good education for citizens.
Speaking on the topic: “Ghana’s Development: “Pursuing Policies and Programs In The Collective National Interest” on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7mhz, Prof. Lord Mensah suggested that for a business to thrive, it has to do with the macro and physical policy of the economy.
“We don’t need astronomical policies but the government’s position is key in the economy.”
