The Member of Parliament for Suame Constitiunecy, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has described as baptism the sachet water some angry Suame youth pelted at him in July 2022.
According to Hon. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu who was speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7 mhz in Kumasi said, the youth did that to encourage him.

Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu was allegedly hooted at when he went to visit his constituents.
The angry mob threw sachets of water at the MP, of which he had to take cover at a nearby magazine shop. Seeing the rush at which the mob was pressing on, the police had to take him from there, into a building around a commercial bank in the vicinity, to take shelter.
Even while there, the residents still threw sachets of water at him.
The state of the MP was so pathetic that, many had to even leave seeing him quietly seated.
The MP who served for seven terms in parliament, has refused to hear the cry of the people as the deplorable state in which their roads are, still stays unattended to.
The youth were pent up with so much anger about the system that, they threw sachets of water at their MP. The Ghanaian youth are becoming disappointed in the political class of this country.
