An Advocate for the Legalization of Marijuana and ace Broadcaster, Kwame Sefa Kayi is calling for a matured discourse on the Cannabis Bill by Parliament in order not to divert the essentials that come with it.
To this end, Kwame Sefa Kayi noted that the Narcotics Control Commission (NCC) must build modalities to guide Ghanaians in order not to carry them away.
Speaking on Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, he reiterated that the legalization of the growing of cannabis is not for its abuse but it brings huge economic value.
“You see, this is a whole industry where we can make huge profits from. Other countries have taken advantage of it. Why can’t we do same. We have vast land for it’s cultivation. In the US, people queue for it as a prescription”, he told host, Kwame Koranteng.
