“We Had Already Sacked Ourselves Before Your Statement Was Issued” – Lawyer Buaben Asamoa Mocks NPP1 min read

A former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Buaben Asamoa has posited that he and the three NPP members who have been axed from the party had already sacked themselves before the party issued a statement to sack them.

Speaking on Kumasi based Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, he explained that the Constitution of the party denotes that anyone who does not support the duly elected Presidential candidate and supports an independent candidate has automatically sacked himself from the party.

Lawyer Buaben Asamoa said the NPP leadership does not have the power to sack anyone from the party.

He mocked that the NPP has ‘sacked their parliamentary votes’ explaining that Alan Kyerematen in his resignation announcement urged the NPP supporters to vote for him in the Presidential election and vote for NPP in the Parliamentary election.

Lawyer Buaben Asamoa accentuated that the NPP has noticed the ‘butterfly movement’ is flourishing massively.
