‘Yentie Obiaa’ NPP Neglected Ashanti Region From 2024 Budget – Eric Dadson1 min read

Convenor for Movement for Transparent and Accountability Governance, Eric Dadson has stated that after glancing through the 28-page 2024 budget statement there was no good news for the Ashanti Region as a stronghold of the ruling party.

Mr Dadson described it as disgusting.

Speaking on Time FM’s Morning Show, Ama Ghana, he said “If this government thinks about the ranting criticisms in its stronghold and breaking the 8 slogan, it would have factored Ashanti Region in the budget.”

Mr Dadson said if the Region was factored into the budget it would have calmed down the tension.

He said the youth in the Region should demand accountability from the government and why they neglected the region in the 2024 budget.”

“They have to spit red to the government by withdrawal and protest vote,” he told Opanin Tweneboah Kodua.
