Percival Kofi Akaploo, the founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), asserts that President Akufo-Addo is unable to address every issue facing the nation.
Mr. Akpaloo asserted that nearly all of the nation’s significant challenges were addressed by Akufo-Addo.
President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo read the 2024 State of the Nation Address in parliament on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
In accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, the President must address the legislature at the beginning of each session and before to its dissolution with a statement regarding the state of the country.
The presidential candidate for the LPG 2024 election praised the president for discussing the elections and the ways that the government and political parties are working with the Electoral Commission to guarantee free, fair, transparent, and peaceful elections in December.
Kofi Akapaloo, however, pointed out that Ghana is experiencing extreme poverty and recommended that it is past time for Ghana to establish its own capital and cease depending on developed nations.
