Chairman for All Teachers Alliance, Isaac Ofori has urged the government to prioritize health in schools to address health issues of students.

According to Isaac Ofori, the missing link of Ghana’s education is health.

Speaking on the Ama Ghana  Morning Show on Time FM 97.7MHz he said the health aspect of students in Senior High Schools is not prioritized.

His comments come as a reaction to the demise of first year student at Aburi Girls SHS, and 19-year-old final year student of Akim Sweduru SHS, after they were allegedly denied exeat to seek medical care at home.

Mr Ofori stated that government can operationalize sick bays in schools thus to assign doctors to schools and increase the salaries of the health workers to motivate them.
