I Will Do Everything In My Power To Ensure Free And Fair Election On December 7 – Akufo-Addo1 min read

President Akufo-Addo has reiterated that government will make sure the reputation of Ghana is not damaged during the December 7 polls.

Akufo-Addo emphasized that government is doing its part to make the work of the Electoral Commission go smoothly.

Delivering the State of the Nation Address in Parliament on February 27, 2024 he added “I want to reassure the people of Ghana that I’ll do everything within my power to ensure a free and fair election on December 7”

He said he is  happy that the EC after meeting the political parties has shelved plans to change the December 7 election date.

“There is nothing about elections that should generate violence,” he stated
