NUGS President Leads To Provide Teaching Aid To Students In Flood Affected Towns.<span class="wtr-time-wrap after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">1</span> min read</span>

 

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) as part of its mandate to cater for the welfare of the over 12.5 million Ghanaian Students embarked on a mission to support the flood-induced victims in the North and Central Tongu districts.

On Tuesday, around 10PM, the President of NUGS, Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel together with his National Officers and selected Volunteer Teachers from NUGS’s respective institutions arrived at Adidome in the North Tongu District to join the initial team of volunteers dispatched on grounds in the Central and North Tongu Districts.

The objective of the Union is to continue its volunteer teaching project to assist these young displaced students to catch up with the curriculum and propel their academic endeavor.

The leadership also sent some relief items containing books, clothes, food, drinks and other stationary.

Details:
The Union, the President stated was working hard to provide the displaced Students with the help and resources they need during this challenging time.

He noted that, “Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those affected”.

He also expressed his appreciation to those who have supported their endeavour especially the three (3) foundation.

The President called for more support from other sponsors and institutions going to make life easier for the flood affected students.
