VIDEO: Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi Fires Finance Minister Over E-levy1 min read
Legislator for Asante-Akim North Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi has fired Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta over the controversial Electronic Transfer Levy.
According to Lawyer Appiah-Kubi, the Finance Minister was lackadaisical and didn’t heed to the plea of Ghanaians to reduce the levy to 1%.
In an interview on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, he said if Ken Ofori-Atta had reduced the levy to 1% Ghanaians wouldn’t have endure hardship.
Lawyer Appiah-Kubi was among the over 90 NPP Members of Parliament (MPs) who wanted the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta removed from office in 2022 over economic hardship.
