Crusaders Against Corruption has described as a crime, alleged votes buying by candidates.

According to the Crusaders Against Corruption monetization in Ghana politics is a typical example of corruption.

The Chief Corruption Crusader, Emmanuel Wilson echoed that even though vote buying is a crime, it has been normalize to be accepted as a norm.

Mr Wilson speaking on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show revealed that, section 240 and 241 of the Criminal Code explains that it is against the law for a candidate to buy a vote from electorate.

He said vote buying is perceived just like murder and robbery.
