Parliament is set to reconvene for the fifth meeting of its fourth session on October 15, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

This change in venue is due to ongoing renovations in the main parliamentary chamber.

Speaker Alban Bagbin has informed Members of Parliament of the upcoming session in a statement released on September 30, 2024.

Additionally, during a recent two-day emergency session held at the Dome, Parliament approved a $250 million loan agreement from the World Bank aimed at supporting the Ghana Energy Sector Recovery Programme.

This funding, which was previously rejected before the parliamentary recess, played a significant role in the decision to recall Parliament on September 3.
